Some of what the author refers to as books really seem more like avant-garde objects for an art museum
I give this 5 stars because the first half of the book is more informative than The Craft of Bookbinding and Hand Bookbinding: A Manual of Instruction put together, though what the author refers to as a "book" stretches the definition of the word badly.

Depends on what you are interested in...
This would be a good book if you are mainly interested in traditional "codex" books, with 2 covers and a spine.

This is a great book!
Text & diagrams too small & difficult to follow
