I am not always a fan of Pogorelich, but this CD does not disappoint.

Ultimate Scarlatti
For the average classical-music loving listener I would recommend this as an excellent selection of Scarlatti sonatas.

Inexhaustible source of joy!
Somehow strange, I decided to get this album - Ivo Pogorelich playing 15 Scarlatti Sonatas - many years after it was recorded and issued by Deutsche Grammophon.

Fresh, tart, nuanced performance of a crisp master
This is an excellent recording of the interpretation of Domenico Scaratti by the pianist Ivo Pogorelich.

Scarlatti Heaven
Does anyone else play with greater delicacy, clarity and precision?

Pogorelich is the new Vladimir Horowitz to me
Though sometimes criticized on his interpretations, his touché and rock solid tempo's are like those of Vladimir Horowitz to me, realizing their playing an also their Scarlatti sonaten are very different.
